Petition and Support Campaign For Jailed ILWU Local 21 Member Sonny Halladay

In an effort to intimidate and terrorize ILWU Local 21 Longview  longhore workers Sonny Halladay has been jailed on trumped up charges. Sonny and the membership of the local  fought the union busting drive of international conglomerate EGT. EGT tried to open up a grain elevator non-union and used the police and and even  the US Coast Guard to break their strike.

Sonny Halladay was forced to plead to minor misdemeanor charges after being threatened with felonies and has been in jail for months. He was jailed on September 10, 2012

We call for his immediate release and for a united campaign of all labor and working people to defend labor prisoners who have been incarcerated because of their standing up for union principles.

Do not let Sonny Halladay stand alone against this vicious attack on basic union rights.
